Earlier this month Ritelite exhibited at Bauma 2025, hosted in Munich, Germany. This was the 35th edition of the world’s leading trade fair for the construction industry, where a comprehensive international product range of construction machinery, equipment, vehicles and mining machines was showcased to global building and construction experts – turning Munich once again into the global heartbeat for the industry.

The Ritelite team had a busy seven days at the fair, with visitors to our stand at EWE.19 from 38 different countries. It was a fantastic opportunity to discuss power and lighting challenges with existing partners and to make new global connections.

Many of our conversations focused on the advantages of Ritelite’s beam control technology – especially around the K65 Quad Pod Mobile Lighting Towers, our new K41 Area Lighting System and the K9 & K10 Portable Work Lights.

These products, designed with our beam-controlled focused lensing to ensure all the light is directed where it’s needed, deliver:

  • A significantly higher quality of illumination than typically found on mobile lighting products in the construction industry.
  • Much higher energy efficiency.
  • A safer lighting environment for workers and surrounding areas (including inhabitants, transport infrastructure) by minimising light pollution.

Understanding our customer’s applications is crucial for our product design process. It allows us to develop new products from the ground up, harnessing the latest technological advances to deliver high-performance, energy-efficient solutions with compact, lightweight form factors – ensuring maximum mobility, application coverage, and return of investment. The feedback and insights gained from conversations at Bauma will play a key role in shaping the future of our product range, helping us meet the needs of an even wider range of applications.

The K65 Quad Pod Mobile Lighting Tower in particular attracted a lot of attention, as visitors recognised that a mobile large area floodlighting solution like the K65 is the way forward compared to the typical trailer-based lighting tower designs of the past decades. The K65 not only optimally illuminates over 6868 m² at 20 lux average but also reduces light pollution by approximately 70% compared to standard alternatives making it ideal for a wide range of construction industry applications. Another highlighted product at Bauma was the K41 portable area floodlighting system, developed to replace traditional 360° only lighting balloons and similar product designs. This newly launched product solution offers exceptional light coverage whilst maximising power efficiency through intelligent automated light control.  Designed to meet the growing demand for energy-efficient, sustainable, and flexible lighting in the rail and construction sectors, the K41 was well received by visitors.

Site working has changed significantly in the last few years with battery power now offering the flexibility and capacity remote workers need for powering lighting and other site equipment. More than ever, companies are recognising how switching to battery-powered generators supports ESG goals with greener solutions while delivering real cost and energy savings.

Ritelite’s RITE-POWER product solutions are ticking all the right boxes.  It was great to discuss the RITE-POWER battery generator range including innovative ways to integrate these into temporary construction site power networks to manage short term peak loads, saving a lot of costs on heavy cabling whilst increasing power efficiency and flexibility – all with reduced emissions.

We would like to thank everyone who visited us at Bauma this year. We look forward to continuing those conversations in the days and months ahead.
