A Ritelite – Speedy Hire collaboration brings Ticket To Innovate to the Rail Sector
Ticket To Innovate 2024 brought leaders from across the industry together at the iconic Nene Valley heritage railway on 12th November for a day dedicated to innovation, sustainability and forward-thinking solutions.
A collaborative initiative by Ritelite (Systems) Ltd and Speedy Hire, Ticket To Innovate was created to redefine the traditional rail industry exhibition by focusing on collaboration and innovation to tackle real-world challenges faced daily across the sector. Designed as a platform for open dialogue and problem-solving, the event brought leaders, buyers and decision-makers from across the rail sector together at the historic Nene Valley heritage railway near Peterborough. This “industry first” immersive exhibition took over the entire site – station, track, tunnel and even a train – delivering a dynamic space for hands-on tool demonstrations, technical talks, and product showcases in authentic, real-world scenarios.

At Ticket To Innovate Ritelite’s cutting-edge LED area floodlighting and RITE-POWER battery generator solutions for rail lighting were showcased to the industry with attendees able to experience the products firsthand on a Ritelite lit tunnel walk. As the evening set in they boarded a train for a ride through the illuminated track gaining unique insights into Ritelite’s high-output, sustainable solutions for temporary rail lighting designed to maximise energy efficiency whilst minimising light pollution.
The event also marked the launch of the new K41 Area Lighting System– a high power, multi-functional LED 360º flexible area floodlight with automated light output control offering maximum power efficiency on site for rail and construction projects. This addition to the Ritelite product range highlights the company’s commitment to delivering cutting-edge, sustainable, innovative solutions for rail and construction projects.
Throughout the day, engaging discussions with attendees highlighted the evolving challenges of lighting and powering temporary rail repair projects. We’re excited to build on these conversations, fostering continued collaboration with our customers to develop innovative solutions that meet the demands of a rapidly changing industry.
