Quad Pod K65 Mobile Lighting Towers improve training areas for Epsom and Ewell Colts FC
Last week our team had a great evening delivering an order of Quad Pod K65 Mobile Lighting Towers to Epsom & Ewell Colts FC, a FA Charter Standard club and one of the largest grassroots clubs in Surrey.
The club, which has been in existence since 1971, runs a mixture of boys & girls teams with over 1,100 registered players in 82 teams playing across various leagues over the weekend.
Around 350 players from 35 teams train every week Monday to Thursday until 9pm at Nescot College grounds in Epsom.
The club needed to expand their training area by up to 3 times the size and wanted flexibility in the solution they chose. They looked at purchasing the Quad Pod K65 mobile sports lighting towers because the light output was much better than other floodlights they had previously used with all the light hitting the playing surface evenly without the “pools of light and darker areas” that is common with non beam controlled floodlights.
With the help of Football Foundation funding the club managed to secure a grant to purchase 4 x Quad Pod K65 Lighting towers which will revolutionise their weekly training sessions. The compactness of the lights when in stowed form enables them to fit through a standard door which will allow the club to store them securely.
