- How heavy is the K45 Mobile lighting tower?
The K45 weighs 90kg. It can be easily manoeuvered over any terrain with the robust wheel kit by one person. All details are on our Weights and Dimensions tab. - How does the K45 safety stability system work?
The K45’s in built safety stability system automatically lowers the mast in unstable conditions e.g. high winds or when the legs have become unstable. - How compact is the K45 mobile lighting tower when in stowed position?
The K45 in a stowed position measures 0.4M x 0.4M x 1.5M (L x W x H measurements). This makes the K45 a superbly flexible product for storage and transport enabling it to fit in many sized vehicles. The K45 can be supplied as either a 110V or 240V input product and can be powered by either mains power, diesel generators or Ritelite’s RITE-POWER range of battery powered generators. For a quote for any remote power source please contact us for a tailored quote. - What area can the K45 light?
The K45’s light headlets can be positioned to light a 360 degree area or a more directional 180 degree area (or anything in between). Set up as a 360 degree light set up the K45 will give an average 20 lux over a massive 3552m2. - Are spare parts available for the K45?
Spares are available for the K45 product and Ritelite is also able to offer a repair service for any K45 towers that have been damaged during use. Yes it is possible to arrange on-site demonstrations depending on location. Please contact us to discuss further. - What is the wind rating for a K45?
The K45 has a wind rating of 45mph. The in-built stability system will automatically lower the mast should the wind speed become too high for safe operation. - Do we need planning permission to use the K45?
As the K45 is a temporary lighting tower no planning permission is required, however care should be taken on setup to ensure the light does not dazzle road users or shine onto other buildings such as homes. - Can the K45 run from a 110v supply?
The unit has a range of 100-240V so will work fine with 110V circuits. The type of connector needed must be specified when ordering.
