HOISTING SPECIALISM
Launched in 2021, Speedy’s Hoisting division has rapidly established itself as a national leader, offering over 300 hoists and transport platforms for safe, efficient movement of people and materials up to 150 metres. Supported by 25+ mobile engineers, the fleet is strategically deployed across the UK, ensuring rapid response, regular inspections, and full compliance with LOLER and legislation.
Working with leading manufacturers, Speedy has invested in the latest innovations to prioritise safety and productivity. Our specialist project managers provide free site surveys, technical support, and pre-start planning, ensuring the right hoist is selected for each project. Hoists are easy to load and unload, stop at multiple levels, reduce manual handling risks, and cut labour costs. Independent IPAF operator training is also available to support safe use on-site.
Major customers include Altrad Services, Morgan Sindall, Willmott Dixon, and McLaren Construction. Case studies, such as the Leeds Gateway re-cladding scheme, demonstrate Speedy’s ability to deliver complex, progressive installations with tailored configurations despite space restrictions and live-site challenges.
