Individual, fully adjustable light heads
Allows light to be adjusted to suit any lighting application including a 360° light pattern.
Integrated manual winch with automatic safety brake
The slack rope safety system automatically detects when the winch rope is not correctly tensioned and prevents the user from continuing to operate the winch in the mast lowering direction. This helps to protect the user from potentially unsafe operating conditions and also protects the wire rope and winch from damage.
Operator level RCBO electrical safety isolation switch
No need to lower mast to turn luminaries on and off. Instant power off should an electrical problem occur.
Independently adjustable legs
Rapid to deploy, Independently adjustable legs. Designed to enable maximum stability when deployed on any sports pitch.
Built in level gauge
Reduces set-up time and allows the operator to ensure that the mast is setup correctly and safely.
Fork lift pockets and tie down points
For safe and fast handling, loading and unloading at storage depots and sports sites.
Automatic mast safety and stowage lock
Helps prevent mast from being raised until legs are deployed and secures mast for transport.
Automatic mast safety interlock system
Market leading, double pin safety locking system ensures that the mast is automatically and safely mechanically locked in all positions when raising the mast. This system also acts as a “dead man’s handle” for safe lowering of the mast.
Compact to store and transport
Will fit through standard size door enabling storage in any location. 8 Quad Pod lighting towers can be stored on a footpoot of 10ft x 6.6ft.
Low pressure footprint
Low pressure footprint with non-marking base. Optimum stability with minimum ground impact. Ideal for deployment on impressionable ground surfaces.
Unique parallel mast design
Allows the mast sections to slide past each other and the light head assembly to be fully retracted and stowed at the base of the unit. The centre of gravity is very low with the weight perfectly balanced over the wheels for easy and safe handling even on difficult terrain.
Low centre of gravity for safe handling on site
Typical telescopic mast designs do not allow the light heads to be retracted below approx 6.6ft height for transportation and positioning on site. This results in either having to remove the light heads or in a high centre of gravity making positioning and handling difficult and potentially unsafe, especially on uneven surfaces.
Adjustable, removable wheel kit for transport, storage and security
Easily adjust the wheel kit for increased flexibility when transporting or storing the Quad Pod mobile lighting towers or remove completely when in situ to prevent theft.

It is possible for the Quad Pod to be powered from mains power, diesel generators or a Ritelite RITE-POWER battery powered generator. The Quad Pod can be supplied with either a 110V or 240V input depending on application. The closed dimensions of the Quad Pod mobile lighting tower is 7.78ft x 10.17ft x 21ft (L x W x H). This enables it to be able to be pushed through a standard size door for storage and moved to where it is needed over almost any terrain by hand. - How heavy is a Quad Pod?
The heaviest model, the K65 21ft Quad Pod weighs 522lbs. This weight is evenly distributed over wide rough terrain wheels to enable it to be easily manoeuvered over almost any terrain into the required position. Forklift lift points assist movement onto transport vehicles and a lifting eye is available for customers who wish to lift via crane or other machine. - How bright are the Quad Pod lighting towers?
The maximum brightness possible on a quad pod lighting tower will give an average 20 lux over a massive 73927ft2 area. Yes Ritelite are able to support UK customers with repairing and servicing the Quad Pod mobile lighting towers. For an 11 V 11 full size pitch we would recommend between 6 and 8 units, depending on the brightness level you’re after. Our in house lighting design team can advise further and send relux lighting diagram to visually show the illumination levels that can be achieved. Yes we offer a range of battery powered generators under our RITE-POWER range which will power the Quad Pod. Both 110V and 230V options are available, with a choice of power output for different applications and countries. The Quad Pod is safe to use in wind speeds up to 30mph. - Do we need planning permission to use the Quad Pod?
As the Quad Pod is a temporary lighting tower no planning permission is required, however care should be taken on setup to ensure the light does not dazzle road users or shine onto other buildings such as homes. - Can the Quad Pod run from a 110v supply?
The unit has a range of 100-240V so will work fine with 110V circuits. Customers need to specify the type of connector you need when ordering. - What does Beam Control mean?
